You have gotten into this SCUBA diving hook line and sinker. You absolutely love it! Now what?
Well it is time to take that first step and enter into the professional ranks of diving. As a Dive Master, you will be taught how to help and develop fellow divers. You should be striving to become that voice of experience and reason. The Dive Master is not a “gimme” course and you should not look at it that way. It is going to be hours of classroom, time in the water working with instructors and students. All the while you are going to growing in your experience and abilities.
As I can tell you, Dive Master was one of the most challenging things that I have done. On the other hand, it is also one of the most rewarding. It was not given to me; I knew that at the end I had earned the Dive Master rating. While I am not going to put you through the same thing that I went through, I will be there with you at all times. Hands on and letting you grow into the confident and capable Dive Master. There will be no doubt in your mind that you can handle almost any situation and overcome obstacles put in front of you.
You must be at least 18 years of age to be a Dive Master. You must have also completed Rescue Diver and hold a current EFR or CPR with First Aid card. This is just the entry requirements for you to start on one of the most rewarding ratings in the Scuba diving lifestyle.
Once you have become a Dive Master, you are in the professional ranks now and the sky really is the limit. You can move onto the Assistant Instructor rating or on up to the Open Water Instructor ranks. We can help design the program to meet your needs going forward.
